“An Inconvenient Truth: A Global Warning”

Come witness what everyone has been talking about! Veolia Transportation presents Carl
Duivenvoorden’s live presentation of Al Gore’s Academy Award winning slide show. As there
becomes more of a focus on public transportation’s role in global climate change, it is more
important than ever for transit leaders to learn more about the effects global warming has
on our planet and what we in the industry can do about it. In the summer of 2006, Carl read “An Inconvenient Truth”, the book that catapulted climate change to the top of the global agenda. In April 2007, he was
selected to attend a training session led by former Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Al Gore, becoming one of
just 21 Canadians trained. Since then, he has presented “An Inconvenient Truth” to more than 10,000 people, in English
