NCPTA Membership
Members of the NCPTA represent a diverse group of people - from the large urban system to the smallest of rural systems, bus/van manufacturers, educational entities, private companies, local and state elected officials and individuals interested in public transportation - all working toward one goal: To increase and enhance the awareness of public transportation in North Carolina.
Members have the opportunity to participate and become involved in many events sponsored by the NCPTA, including Forums and Training, the Annual Conference, and the Bus/Van Roadeo. In addition, members can become involved in any of the six committees: Affiliate, Conference, Legislative, Membership, Roadeo , and Training. Lobbying, Legislative & Links, and Membership Development.
NCPTA provides an excellent peer to peer network. Sharing information, ideas and solutions is one of the many advantages of membership.
Members will receive a Certificate (suitable for framing), a lapel pin depicting the NCPTA logo and access to an online Membership Directory with a list of officers, current members and a copy of the By-laws. Members will also have access to the NCPTA Web site, legislative updates and all NCPTA mailings.
