After careful consideration with the NCPTA Executive Committee, Board of Directors and staff leadership, we will be implementing new (hopefully one time) COVID-19 safety protocols at our upcoming 2022 NCPTA Conference, Expo & Golf event. These protocols have become standard for conferences and will be critical in protecting the health and safety of everyone participating in the Conference and associated events.
- All attendees need to present proof of vaccination (Booster not required) or a negative COVID-19 PCR test (no home tests) dated no later than 3 days prior to arrival at the event.
- Face masks will be optional pending any sudden increase in cases locally at the time of the event.
In order to keep all attendee information confidential, we will be partnering with a third-party verification service, Id.me. We will be sharing more details on this process approximately two weeks before the conference begins.
Additionally, we’ve extended our early-bird rates to March 18th. We want to offer as much flexibility to our members as possible, including the assurance of low prices.
Please contact NCPTA Conference Co-Chair L.J. Weslowski (weslowlj@concordnc.gov) or Executive Director David Rhew (director@nctransit.org), if you have any questions about these important safety protocols at our 2022 NCPTA Conference, Expo & Golf event.
We feel it is imperative to do everything we can to ensure your safety in attending our conference — and these extra steps we have decided to take do just that. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to answer any questions you might have.
